Commission Information

I have studied the most in landscape and environment design, however I do have some experience in portrait, figure, and concept art painting. My work is mostly grunge, impressionist, and painterly, but if you would like the piece to reflect the work of another similar artist I am willing to adapt. I separate my work into 4 different formats below, with each one having an average price range listed below.

Process

My contact information is listed on the home page. If you would like any information regarding a commission, or would like to request one, message me on one of the listed platforms. I respond almost all hours of the day, and will let you know my available discussion times.
By commissioning me, you agree to abide by my Terms of Service

I take all non-nsfw requests. You can give me your idea yourself and we can revise it, or if you are having trouble describing then there are 3 categories I can sort questions into:
--General--
Which of the 4 portraits above are you looking for? What is/are the subjects of the painting? Are you looking for something dramatic, serene, vast, flashy? Make clear the general idea of the piece, what it's purpose is/what you are doing with it.
--Subjects--
Are subjects in a certain pose? Are you looking for a certain landscape composition? What aspects or small details do you want in the piece? Describe where the "camera" or the "viewer" is pointing (looking down, facing up, tilted, panoramic).
--Stylization--
What is the mood of the piece? Is there a color palette you like? Is there an artist or style you want it stylized in? Have I previously painted a piece which you would like your piece to be formatted in? Are there textures or patterns you want in the piece?
--References--
I work closest to your ideas when you have references. I simply require one reference, whether that be color, composition, subject, etc. The more references I get the better the result will be.

After that, I will give you an estimate. I judge landscapes / still life off how complex the composition is, what size you're looking for, and the amount of detail you would like. For portraits/abstract figures, I charge below PER SUBJECT, not the entire piece:
Busts(shoulders up): $60-75 ------ Half body(waist up): $75-90 ------ Full Body: $90+
Prices will vary, I have received many different types of commissions with varying costs.
If you need it completed by a certain date, it can cost between $10 - 30 more depending on how fast it needs to be completed(see list below).

After payment(100% upfront), I will give you a time estimate of how long it will take to start on the work. It is challenging even to give you a rough estimate, but I work on paintings about an average of 30mins/1hr a day. This process is very specific, the rules below are an absolute, and you MUST be aware of them before you commission me:

  1. With no deadline, I complete sketches in about a week, and the rest of the piece between 3-4 weeks after that. This will differ if I am dealing with multiple commissions, schoolwork, or other events.

  2. Commissions are completed in the order I receive them. My work drops in quality if I am dealing with multiple projects simultaneously. If you need the piece completed in a rush, then you can order a rushed commission. If I believe I can take take the workload you are placed at the top priority of the commission line. You will have to pay an extra:

  3. - $40 if you need it in less than a week

  4. - $30 if you need it within 7-10 days

  5. - $20 if you need it within 10-14 days

  6. - $10 if you need it within 14-20 days (I will not accept a rushed commission if you would like it completed later than 3 weeks away.)

  7. As courtesy, please do not persistently message or request updates. If you would like a status update or a WIP every 4-7 days then I would be more than happy to provide upon request. I have school, work, clubs, and family to attend to, do not spam my inbox if I don't reply, I will attend to it as fast as time will allow.

  8. As a reminder: This is digital art. Unless you would like to pay for editing, formatting, printing, and shipping costs I do not offer printed commissions, only digital.

  9. Regarding edits to the design: You may suggest any edits or additions during the sketching phase. When rendering, I can make any edits/adjustments that DO NOT require a redraw or addition to the sketch. If I need to sketch it, I won't add it.

  10. To 'finish' a piece, it takes about an hour to adjust, save, package, and upload the final commission package(detailed below) to the web, so once I send you a preview of the final product you have 12 hours to request adjustments before I 'finish' it. You get this opportunity only once, unless marginal errors are my fault. *Please be reasonable, I cannot re-paint half of your bird portrait in 12 hours if you have had over 2 weeks of contact to let me know the grey feathers should be blue instead. *

After the work is completed, I will send you a google drive link that contains the following:
Upscaled image(30-50MB) ---- Default scaled image(15-25MB) ---- Downscaled image(3-10MB)
Edited Versions(removed subjects, altered lighting, etc.) ---- Individual Layers(textures, effects)

Terms of Service

General

  • By commissioning my work, you agree to abide by all of the terms laid out in the following lists.

  • I reserve the right to refuse service to anyone for any reason.

  • I reserve the right to post my work on social media and my portfolio.

Payment

  • Refunds are allowed as long as I have not started rendering the piece at all

  • Single subject payment is always 100% upfront. This is to prevent scammers from commissioning me, and when I present them with the final product they steal it and cut contact without payment. It's happened, and not a risk I'm willing to take again.

  • Any bulk order(multiple pieces or multiple subjects) can be paid 50% before and 50% after completion.

  • As stated, prices will be negotiable, because some requests will be inevitably more complex than others. I will NOT accept free requests or extreme lowball offers.

  • You can commission several paintings at one time. Should we agree on this, you pay the price of the most expensive painting, and every other piece is 50% of the cost of it's estimated price (on commissions page). Example: Say you commission a landscape and 3 figure portraits. I quote $80 for the landscape and $50 each for the portraits. You pay the $80 for the landscape, and the portraits are 50% off to $25 each.

Personal/Commercial Policy

  • You may use the work for personal use without the need to credit my services(although it is greatly appreciated). If non-family/friends are going to be viewing the piece on a consistent basis, then it is NOT personal.

  • Commercial commissions are very specific, so read carefully.

  • Regarding any piece(s) that are seen, used by, or sold to the general public, I do NOT accept % of profits as a payment method. I must be able to guarantee that the commission is worth the work and effort I put into the piece.

  • All commercial pieces have a 10% increase in price as a replacement for % of profits.

  • Commercial commissioners are free to use the design however they want(i.e. banners, covers, products).

  • The rights to use a commissioned piece with no restrictions comes with acknowledgement. You must visibly credit my services for the work. (Any of the accounts I list on the main page are acceptable)

  • You are not allowed to digitally remove any signature or originality stamp I place on the piece.
